The Preamble
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
So What Happened?
Living in a Country where the government has become too intrusive and abusive, makes it hard to believe a federal government is even needed.
However, people left to themselves slip into horrible forms of corruption, violence and depravity. Romans 1 lists out what happens to the "natural" person.
It is important the people be governed on many different levels. One level includes a government of several different states protected by a union under God.
Another level of government includes the individual state governments. These powers must be limited by the United rules.
Under this is the city leadership, then the family leadership, and finally individual government.
Along side this government is that of individual Baptistic churches, who provide spiritual motivation and leadership among members.
Praise God for Godly men who set up our country to follow such Godly precepts!
Some would say that justice is harsh and cruel and can only hurt people. This ideology comes from the belief that people cannot do what is right of good consistently.
The opposite is the truth. Right and true justice provides crucial peace and quiet. It stimulates a person to do his best. It promotes health and wealth. A society cannot survive without it.
Our Country has come a long way from the intentions of the men who formulated and endorsed the Constitution. Why have we strayed so far away?
It comes back to the lack of training and vigilance. Our families have not passed on the ideals of God's Word and good government. Little has been done to preserve our liberties.
Instead, we have slumped into selfishness and humanism. People think they are owed a "good life."
We have not defended the concepts of liberty and have become enslaved to corruption and oppression, all the while saying we are free and happy.
The United States of America was started on a very godly basis. The country was started for the benefit of the future generations.
What has been lost is this vision for our family. Families today are completely fragmented. Those that hold themselves together are fraught with debt and manifold dysfunctions.
Furthermore, U.S. citizens do not work to establish anything but the government, governmental intrusions, and at times business empires.
It is very important for families to scale back from this world's system and take advantaged of the provisions of our forefathers.
We need to quit drawing lines in the sand and establish family rules of conduct and living.
