We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

A Constitution is an agreement between a ruler and his people.
People wish to leave the affairs of government to politicians. However, politicians, by their very personality and nature are corrupt.
In order to make sure that government officials work as servants to the citizens, powers must be carefully guarded and controlled. A people of a land are responsible for the leaders they follow and permit to lead them.
Just as a person has the obligation to choose a pastor and church very carefully, a person should choose their government leaders very carefully as well.
There is only one form of government that is not optional, that of the family. God appoints one's parents and lineage. There are times when this is changed, but one is always the child of his biological parents.
When a government becomes corrupt, it is important that its citizens work together to bring it back onto righteousness.
A constitution goes a long way in enabling citizens to be able to control the government. Without one that properly limits governmental powers, the citizens usually have to resort to great bloodshed and the great loss of life and property.
