Article 1, Section 8, Paragraphs 14-15
To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval Forces;
To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;
So What Happened?
This great country has abandoned the great principles of the Militia. God can do great things with a few righteous individuals. Military strength does not save a nation from defeat, nor does it repel attack. Righteousness and honoring God save a nation and protect it from many evils.
Our huge standing Military instead is being used all over the world to support subversive and ungodly factions. It is also being used against citizens in this country. If our country stood for righteousness and honor, criminals in this country would be properly punished and there would not be a problem with crime or the presence of terrorists. By leaving the Biblical ideal of having secure communities that provide their own security, and choosing to live in an open society that welcomes anything and any person, doctrine, race, creed, etc; we are committing suicide as a nation and people. Citizens are afraid to come forward to report crimes and stand up to politicians for fear they will be singled out by the Government or criminal groups, and harshly brutalized for their efforts.
Militias are discouraged from being used because of the huge Government Military that might strike them and out-gun them.
The Government is not afraid of the citizens of our country. They have managed to create huge militaries with our children held hostage overseas in every kind of war and "peace-keeping" mission. Americans are afraid to speak up.
Godly Christians have got to turn the tide of evil and begin speaking openly of the ways of God and this country. This country must go back to its knees. We may feel like the prophets of the Old Testament, crying to people with stiff necks and a hard heart, but the message needs to go forth. Letting the Government batter and threaten churches for speaking out about politics is wrong.
