So What Happened?
Not only is there an impact financially, there are moral, social, religious, and cultural impacts. Such immigration has brought the Mafia and now many Asian gangs to our shores. We have been impacted by the foreign influx of psychedelic drugs and degraded by the persistent foreign culture of drunkenness and prostitution. The reign of terror and riots has gone on almost unhindered.
Unemployment has soared due to the theft of local jobs to those who are illegal immigrants. The unexpected influx of foreigners drains resources like water, utilities, and refuse disposal to the point of breaking in California.
Our country deports boatloads of immigrants and allows mass entrance to others. A system of gathering up the illegal immigrants in our land is not done. People are not told of the impact this has on our society. Political groups use the immigrants as political pawns during election years. Often there are wholesale naturalization schemes for certain immigrants to gain a vote.
Our government has not limited bankruptcy nor insisted a person make things right by paying restitution for the overwhelming debt. Furthermore, our economy is based on inflation and income that comes from debt service. Usury is charged at such rates that it is impossible to repay loans. The loss of income to bankruptcy is staggering and forces inflation even higher, making the chances of getting out of debt even more impossible. Credit cards are thrust upon children; bring them into a life long servitude to the gods of credit, insuring either a bankruptcy or a life of buying everything on credit, and wasting hard earned money.
