Article 1, Section 5, Paragraph 4
Neither House, during the Session of Congress, shall, without the Consent of the other, adjourn for more than three days, nor to any other Place than that in which the two Houses shall be sitting.
During a session of Congress
A session is defined as a period during which a group of people sit down to conduct business. It is used when a class is meeting and called a school session. It is used of a recording period called a music session.
The wording indicates that both houses were to meet at the same time. This would enable bills to be approved at both levels and any discrepancies decided.
There is a principle of good business that says, “That thou doest, do quickly,” just as the Lord told Judas.
John 13:27, "And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly."
God accomplished his great creation work in a week and rested. He is our example in how to plan life.
Time is valuable and must not be wasted.
Ephesians 5:16, "Redeeming the time, because the days are evil."
