Article 1, Section 2, Paragraph 2
No Person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the Age of twenty five Years, and been seven Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State in which he shall be chosen.
So what happened?
It was not the purpose of the Constitution to put unreasonable limits on who could be a representative.
What is missing is any reference to spiritual integrity or actual maturity.
What are missing are limits to ensure career politicians could not dominate this branch of government.
It was hoped that a godly citizenry would keep things on track.
We have, as a people, strayed from enforcing justice in the land. Politicians are not only allowed to avoid justice, but they seem to thrive on seeing how far into depravity they can sink.
Bring back justice for all and watch things improve.
