2009 Election Questionnaire

We emailed each of the candidates a list of questions to indicate their moral and philosophical approach to their positions. The questions are very pointed, and designed to cause some squirming by the candidate. However, anything less would not provide adequate fodder for an evaluation. The results of this questionnaire are ranked as follows:

  1. First Place is held by Constance Pepple. Not only did she answer the questions well, her answers resonate well with a good understanding of the political issues and the distorted bias of socialism today. A long term marriage speaks of one who takes commitments seriously.
  2. A close Second Place held by Bev Stupek. While some answers were a bit shaky, the bulk were very good. Her long term marriage also speaks highly of her moral values and belief in the family unit.
  3. In third place is Charles Haase. Unfortunately he did not give the answers we were looking for, and his ethics and moral beliefs are contrary to what the school board should have. The push from within the system is already to strongly bent in his philosophy.
  4. Fourth place is held by Darren Langfield. Not only is finding a way to contact him very difficult, he has not responded to our postage prepaid questionnaire. How can he be a good board member when he refuses to allow people in his area to contact him, nor does he offer a way of knowing what he thinks? Is he at all serious about his candidacy or is he just seeing if he can add another feather to his cap? We strongly suggest he not get any support!
