The Summary of the Presidential Champion Pain (Campaign)by Clinton Macomber, Nov. 5, 2004 Now that all the screaming is over by the presidential wannabe's, it is always fun to summarize things. Kerry made a campaign on needing to have his present wife taxed more than she is today. He expressed deep regret that she was allowed to keep her money. Seems there is some real marital problems there! He also expressed a deep hatred of the military all his life and promised to send everyone that signed up into dangerous combat and thus he would be able to rid the country of soldiers. Bush's campaign can be stated simply as well, "I hate America," so if you vote for me, I will make sure that the borders are opened completely, and every visitor to America will be given driver's licenses and Medicare benefits. He also promised to increase our military endeavors to such a degree that there will not be any naturalized American citizens left in this country. Someone showed him the verse in Scripture that he is to be all things to all men, without showing the context. So, he was pro-homosexuality to the homosexuals; pro-life to the anti-abortion movement, Christian to the Christians, Roman catholic to those minions of the popery, a devout Buddhist to the Buddhists, Islamic to the non-Christian, and on it goes. Seems socialist candidate one was a twin with socialist candidate two. The problem with both of these evil men is that they are children of the Father of lies. Truth was banished from both campaigns. Both considered honesty is for the prude. Both were pretentious. The stage plays made hollywood actors look like saints. The current term for the political platform being "parties" is well chosen. Instead of dealing in straightforward facts, and making promises that had substance and a track record to support, we heard nothing but sound bites of fun and racket. Meanwhile, candidates that had something to say were banished for the likes of Nader who did not have any chance at all, and who can do nothing but bumble, mumble and gripe. Candidates that understand the foundation of this country, are faithful and humble saints of God, and who know the Constitution, and are are willing to stand up, were ignored by the press as well as the citizens of this country. Where does this leave us? God's Word is plain. When a country turns its back on the righteous and supports two of the most vile men of this world, there is nothing but severe judgment to be experienced by the citizenry. God sent ample warning to all Americans these last years. Under Clinton the country was battered by increasing natural disasters: earthquakes in the West, Tornadoes in the East and flooding in the middle states. There was a severe drought, and serious shortages of resources. Under the recent Bush administration, things have only gotten worse. While Christians want to turn a blind eye to the facts and only will accept what they desire to see, God has stepped up the disasters manifold. Under Bush our country was attacked again, just as in the Clinton administration by Islamic faithful. But natural disasters have mightily increased under the hands of the Bush family. Not only have earthquakes, drought, floods, power shortages, fuel shortages, tornadoes, volcanic activity, etc. increased, it has multiplied. And in case we do not get the message, Florida was roundly battered under the leadership of the president's brother. What is to be done? God's people must humble themselves and seek God's will and beg forgiveness for compromises with the devil. They need to stand up and be lights, supporting the righteous that languish unsupported and abandoned by their own people. Were were the Christians in this election? Were they blindly supporting a lie? That makes them supporters of the devil. God will bring every work into judgment with every evil thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil. Compromise is another word for sin. Nothing good comes from compromise. Supporting a person because of hatred of another is in direct disobedience to Scripture that teaches us to love our enemies and do good to them that despitefully use us. 2 Corinthians 6:17-18 "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." |
